Take your visual storytelling to the next level! Inspired by BIMA’s collection of artists’ books, young artists will dive into hands-on mixed media projects and will create their very own artist books, while strengthening their creative voice and narrative skills.
Artist book project elements include: illustration, storytelling structure, and bookbinding techniques.
Storybook Studio II will be led by Lishu Rodriguez, a certified arts educator and teacher who creates inclusive lessons to inspire the next generation of artists.

If you would like to apply for tuition assistance or a scholarship, please do not register for the camp here. Instead, there will be a unique tuition assistance and scholarship application link updated here on February 7, 2026 that you will fill out.
There is no need to provide financial information, though we would like to know more about your student artist and how they may benefit from participating in our BIMA Summer Camp program.
