BIMA has made a priority of serving its community at all stages of life and our Creative Aging programs exemplify this effort. With programs created for those looking to just get out, flex their creativity, and keep their mind fresh and calm to those dealing with early-stage memory loss and their caregivers, BIMA is proud to offer the following:
Steve Parsons leads a weekly group mindfulness meditation for community members. Mindfulness meditation is a practice focused on breathing techniques and quieting one’s thoughts. Meditation has been shown to support both pain and stress management.
