Nature Makers

Registration opens February 7, 2026

AGES 9-11

Art has the power to change our world, as do the artists who make it, no matter their age! In this nature-inspired camp, young artists will explore the intersection of creativity and environmental sustainability. Through hands-on making, centered on creativity and resourcefulness, students will develop their artistic voice while discovering how artists can not only create meaningful art, but also help care for our planet.

Projects include: transforming recycled materials into new works of art, land art, collages, and more eco-friendly projects.

Nature Makers will be led by Lishu Rodriguez, a certified arts educator and teacher who creates inclusive lessons to inspire the next generation of artists.

Each day of camp includes a supervised lunch break and recess at the Waterfront Park and Playground.
