Artists Panel for Booking: Artists’ Books by Black Artists (February)

A BIMA PRISM PROGRAM

Part of Handwork 2026

Booking: Artists’ Books by Black Artists curator Colette Gaiter returns for an intimate conversation with four artists from the exhibition, bringing this show to a close with reflections on the ideas, stories, and creative practices that have shaped this landmark exhibition.

Following the discussion, you are invited to stay for the Black History Month Soirée! At this year’s party, some of this panel’s artists will host their own tables at the Soirée’s Black Love Market where they will be selling their books, prints, and other works. Inspired by Booking, you’ll be able to use BIMA’s provisional presses and woodtype collection to print your own messages on posters and cards during the Soiree!
