Carol Milne: Knit Wit

Carol Milne expands upon ancient kiln-cast glass techniques used during the Egyptian and Roman periods. Her intriguing and amusing glass sculptures defy the difficult and meticulous processes required to complete the work. Milne’s ‘knitted’ sculptures go beyond realism and recreation—they also weave personal memories and stories. Also included are cast glass wall panels in garden motifs.

This exhibition was extended as part of REFRACT: The Seattle Glass Experience taking place across the region October 17-20.
