Go beyond the displays and reach into the magical and powerful world of artists’ books at our Open Book Tours!

Artists’ books are a niche but expansive medium, and BIMA is proud to be one of the only museums that hosts, every season, exclusive artists’ books exhibitions. During our Open Book Tours, small groups will handle and interact directly with exhibiting artists’ books, as well as related titles from the outstanding Cynthia Sears Artists’ Books Collection. Facilitated by educator and artist Babette Mayor, these intimate tours are lively with discussion, interpretation, exploration, and inspiration.

Registration is required for Open Books Tours, happening each month on the third Wednesday and third Saturday in the Sherry Grover Gallery.
