Irene Clark: Streamliner Diner Sketches

BIMA’s longtime volunteer Docent, Irene Clark, joined Bainbridge’s Streamliner Diner in 1984, two years after its opening. For years she sat, sketching discreetly, capturing both ordinary and special moments in the restaurant. In 1990, The Streamliner Diner Cookbook was published, including Clark’s sketches. Unearthed due to a tip from a friend, BIMA is thrilled to present dozens of Clarks’ sketches circa 1984 – 1990.
