BIMA Bash 2024: Escape the Ordinary

Escape the ordinary at the liveliest gala of the year! Save the date for two nights of Caribbean inspiration featuring one-of-a-kind works of art, exclusive travel packages, and so much more. Live la vida BIMA with Cuban-inspired music, strolling performers, creative cocktails, and tantalizing culinary creations.

Friday’s Artful Party is a not-to-be-missed cocktail soirée with over 120 incredible silent auction items and experiences.

Saturday’s Live Auction Gala turns up the island heat with an exceptional dinner, live music, and silent and live auctions. Raise the paddle to show your love for BIMA!

Saturday: IT’S GALA NIGHT!

Make a date for a tropical escape — it's an evening of island inspiration! You'll begin downstairs with exquisite passed appetizers and signature cocktails and will move to the groove of live Afro-Caribbean music and roving dancers as you peruse the possibilities of the Silent Auction and Wall of Wonder. Then move upstairs for a decadent three-course dinner, accompanied by fine wine, that leads into the Live Auction. Guests will bid on outstanding art, unique art experiences, and highly sought-after travel and culinary adventures. And you'll have the chance to show your support for BIMA's outstanding exhibitions and programs during the Raise the Paddle appeal.

It's a not-to-be-missed whirlwind night of generosity, excitement, connection and community!

Cuba: A Cultural Odyssey

Through cultural exchange activities built around key themes including Cuban culture and the arts, history, architecture, agriculture, cigars, vintage cars, baseball and more, you’ll interact directly with the people of Cuba on Tauck’s Havana-based People-to-People trip. Meet Cuban students, educators, entrepreneurs, architects, artists and artisans, dancers, musicians, technicians, baseball players and coaches and more. Explore Ernest Hemingway’s life in Cuba at his preserved home. Discuss art and private enterprise with artists in their studios. Visit with agricultural workers to talk about agrarian reform, tobacco production and organic farming. Interact with members of Havana organizations about their work, from dance to historic preservation to baseball. Learn about Cuban cultural traditions… have meals at paladares (small, privately operated Cuban restaurants)… and connect with the people of Cuba, their passions and their culture in many ways through unique Tauck Experiences.
