Tribal Canoe Journeys began in 1989 with the “Paddle to Seattle,” and has continued annually since 1993. It is a celebrated event for the Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast. Canoe Journeys honors this annual celebration through art and personal story-telling. Included are carved and mixed media art paddles, sculptures, prints, photographs, and ephemera on loan. Artists featured include Robert Davidson, Alano Edzerza, Maynard Johnny, Troy Roberts, Marika Swan, and Crystal Worl.
