Celebrate the New Year and experience the power and intensity of Japanese Taiko Drumming. Takumi Kato brings his amazing skills to BIMA in this special concert. Winner of the 2008 Tokyo International O-Daiko Competition, trained by the legendary Kodo Drummers of Sado Island, and organizer and soloist for the 2000 member performance for the opening ceremony of the 2012 Japan National Sports competition, Kato-san and his family have embarked on a five-year journey through the United States with the goal of performing 1000 community performances.
