Featured Film – The Salt of the Earth

2015 | 110 minutes | Directed by Wim Wenders & Juliano Ribeiro Salgado

For the last 40 years, photographer Sebastian Salgado has been traveling through the continents in the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity while witnessing some of the major events of our recent history.

“THE SALT OF THE EARTH deals with two kinds of journeys this photographer made. The outward one may have literally taken him to the furthest corners of the Earth and resulted in the stunning images this film features. But it is the inward journey that paralleled it that completely holds our attention.” – Kenneth Turan, LA Times
