Join Kimberly Trowbridge as she walks you through her creative practice of translating shape and color from nature into meaningful images. Online meetings include slide lectures on painting, composition, and color theory. Through guided exercises, participants will create a series of mixed-media images with paint and collage.

This seminar takes place over two days, Saturday, January 23 & Saturday, January 30.

Daily Seminar Schedule:
10am – 12:30pm: Lecture & Discussion
12:30pm – 1:30pm: Lunch Break
1:30-3:30pm: Demo & Studio Exercise

About the Instructor

Kimberly Trowbridge is a recent Creative Fellow (2018-20) at Bloedel Reserve, which has inspired the creation of a massive body of paintings over the past 2 years.  Kimberly Trowbridge: Into the Garden is Kimberly’s first solo museum exhibition. She is the Director of the Trowbridge Atelier at Gage Academy of Art, and is represented by Linda Hodges Gallery, Seattle.
