HAIKU EW! Celebrating the Disgusting Side of Nature. A Reading & Reception with Children’s Book Author Lynn Brunelle

It’s National Poetry Month! And what better way to savor the poetic moment than with Award-winning Children’s book author Lynn Brunelle as she shares her newest book: HAIKU EW! Celebrating the Disgusting Side of Nature.

If you think poems about nature are all pretty flowers and rainbow sunsets, this event is NOT for you!

Discover how fish communicate by tooting underwater. Learn how flamingos protect themselves from sunburn, how maggots can be medics and how glow worms fish with glowing snot strands.

A legion of special VIP celebrity guests will unveil each surprising haiku, while Lynn explains the why? and the wait, WHAT? Behind the Ew! There will be book signing, a kids art-making station and refreshments.

Fun for everyone. After the reading, create your own Haiku Ew!

Has Poetry month ever been this gross, I mean cool?!
