Since the 1995 release of his debut recording “Great Boogie-Woogie News” (Document Records), pianist Frank Muschalle has been one of the most in-demand touring acts in Europe. Sometime accompanied by his trio, Frank has played in theaters, festivals, and on jazz cruises in the U.S., Africa, Canada, and South America. With 14 albums to his name, Muschalle has performed with Red Holloway, Carrie Smith, Rusty Zinn, Paul Kuhn, Charly Anolini, and Axel Zwingernberger among many others. His joyful performances carry on the playful traditions of Boogie Woogie music and draws from the styles of famed trio Ammons, Johnson, Lewis, and pianists Little Brother Montgomery, and Cow Cow Davenport. Blurb Goethe Pop Up Seattle Located in Capitol Hill’s iconic Chophouse Row building, the Goethe Pop Up Seattle is a temporary branch of the Goethe-Institut, the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. Throughout 2021, Goethe Pop Up Seattle will be hosting and supporting an international program of exhibitions, films, lectures, performances, public discussions, and more to help shape an understanding of Germany today.
