First Fridays At BIMA
Past Event

OPEN UNTIL 8PM

October 6

Grab a glass a wine or a bite to eat in the BIMA Bistro and celebrate the opening of Linda Okazaki’s exhibition Into the Light, the Faces & Places Artists’ Book exhibition, and admire works from BIMA’s Permament Art Collection.

November 3

In honor of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), BIMA will have an array of activities for visitors to enjoy. Visit the community ofrenda (altar) and pay respect to a passed loved one, or learn how to make oif calavera papel picado (cut paper skull). The fun doesn’t stop there—stop by the museum for music, food, and more!

December 1

‘Tis the Season for BIMA’s 2nd Annual Winter Night Market. Cozy up for an evening filled with lights, holiday tunes, good eats, and outdoor fires to keep you warm on a cold night. Need to do some holiday shopping? Shop an array of vendors or create your own handmade gifts at the museum.

January 5

Let the holiday spirit continue as BIMA celebrates El Dia De Los Reyes, also known as Three Kings Day, a day celebrated across the Latin community. Stop in and enjoy some Latin cuisine, music, and activities.
