First Friday Art Walk – Fabric-Flower Workshop with Molly Vaughan
Past Event

Join BIMA and many businesses in Downtown Winslow for an evening of art and friends! BIMA will be open late until 8pm to allow you to explore the exhibitions and shop the Museum Store. See our current exhibitions here.

For November, the public is invited to collaborate in Project 42 by participating in a fabric-flower making workshop as part of BIMA’s annual Dia de los Muertos celebration. Flowers will be left at the museum, added to the train of memorial garments on display in the gallery. During the course of the evening, in recognition of Trans Awareness month, BIMA will collaborate with trans artist Molly Jae Vaughan, Rainbow Crew NW, and participants from various interfaith organizations to read the names of trans people lost to murder this last year.
