Past Event

POSTPONED. Please check back for details on a new date. For questions, please email Kristin Tollefson, Education Director, at kristin@biartmuseum.org.

Learn firsthand the basics of felting and dyeing wool felt as you create your own kit of parts in this one-day workshop. Students will survey this remarkable medium through the lenses of history, science and art, gaining appreciation for the qualities and characteristics that lend it to creating flat, 3D and sewn forms. Both felting and tabletop dyeing will be addressed. No experience necessary, and all materials, including 1/2 pound of special blend felting wool, felting tools, and natural dyes are included in the price of the workshop.
