Día de los Muertos Community Celebration
Our annual Día de los Muertos celebration, brought to you by the greater Kitsap Community, features an ofrenda, art kits, music, and shared stories about the history and traditions of this festival, which originated in Mexico.
BIMA marks its ninth year hosting this annual Día de los Muertos community gathering. The festival centerpiece is a traditional ofrenda, a colorful, multi-tiered altar. Visitors are encouraged to add their own mementos and words to honor those who’ve passed into time. The altar is viewable by the public each day during museum hours.
