Filming Notice

BIMA is excited to be working in partnership with KCTS 9 to film and broadcast all 2021 Within/Earshot Jazz Festival concerts! This level of exposure for our small but mighty Museum is a game-changer. Due to production necessities, capacity will be limited beyond BIMA’s COVID guidelines. BIMA and the KCTS 9 crew have worked to ensure that no sightlines will be permanently obscured, but views might be temporarily obscured due to a single moving camera and operator at the front of the stage. We appreciate your understanding that you’re part of a live studio audience this year and that by purchasing a ticket, you agree to appear on camera during the recording.

Healthy & Safety Policy

BIMA requires proof of full COVID-19 vaccination for all attendees of programs held in the Frank Buxton Auditorium or BIMA Classroom. Masks are required for all attendees regardless of vaccination status. Learn more about this policy here.
