Beginner Origami Workshop
Past Event

Try your hand at the two most important folds in Origami: the valley fold and the mountain fold!

These two techniques form the foundation of all origami models, and once you learn these two folds, you’ll be able to fold almost all simple origami designs.

Origami can often feel overwhelming, but this Creativity Workshop is perfect for those wanting to experiment with paper folding and the traditional Japanese origami artform.

Free, registration required

Instructor

Maiya Bugay

Hello! My name is Maiya Bugay (she/her) and I am a student at Bainbridge Island School. As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed arts and crafts and using my hands to create all sorts of different projects with materials nearby. Origami is a way that I can express my cultural background and share it with others. I like to volunteer at different community events and help people.
