Carletta Carrington Wilson will be presenting her work in the Sherry Grover Gallery on May 25, at 11am. Carletta’s ‘letter to a laundress’ is currently on display in Open Sesame! The Magic of Artist’s Books Revealed in the Feferman Gallery. An artist working in mixed-media, Carletta often chooses a central image for her decorative frames, focusing the viewer on her subjects in a unique way. Her poetry deepens the context of the iconic images she creates.

The event begins at 11 and ends around noon. When arriving, please give yourself enough time to wash and dry your hands before sitting at the table. We will be passing books around for participants to explore. The talk lasts for about one hour. Pencils for note taking will be provided.
