OPEN DAILY | 10AM-6PM | FREE ADMISSION
We have just completed our third full year of operations and it’s been a sensational year! BIMA has presented many diverse art exhibitions, facilitated an array of educational programs and introduced thousands of school children to our regional museum. We have also collaborated with a variety of cultural and community groups to host compelling and diverse programs at the Museum.
Since opening in 2013, BIMA has served nearly 230,000 visitors, ranging from community residents to international tourists, children and seniors. We count on your support to be open seven days per week, 363 days per year with free admission. We sincerely hope you’ll join us in our commitment to raise $250,000 in our Annual Fund Drive this year, helping us to keep BIMA a vibrant cultural resource.
BIMA has truly become a hub of local and regional activities. On any day you can experience and observe compelling exhibitions from emerging artists, school field trips, guided group tours, hands-on art activities, lectures and seminars, and curated film series.
The passionate commitment of our Board, Staff and Volunteers continue to build on what we have created in the last three years at BIMA. We hope you will join us with a gift to our Annual Fund Drive this year so that BIMA can continue to enrich your life and the cultural life of our region.
With enthusiastic appreciation for your support,Sincerely,
David & George LewisBIMA Annual Fund Co-Chairs
"The poet Rainer Maria Rilke once said, 'One cannot create beauty; one can only create circumstances favorable to it.' BIMA has created an environment of and for beauty and we are deeply appreciative."
– David and George Lewis, Annual Fund Chairs
"Michael and I support BIMA because we believe in their mission and respect how they are implementing it."
"I [Leslie] volunteer at the front desk greeting visitors. It’s there that one can witness the profound impact BIMA has on people. I love that admission is free. It attracts many people that would not usually visit an art museum. It also encourages people to revisit an exhibition, which people often do, bringing family or friends along to share in their enthusiasm."
– Michael and Leslie Lebeau
"Amidst all the worrisome daily news, BIMA uplifts our spirits and reminds us of the beauty in the world. It's a joy to support BIMA as a gateway to our community."
- Channie & Barry Peters, Founding members, volunteers, BCB community partner
"I support BIMA because it is open and welcoming to everyone and because exposure to art can be subtly subversive and influence our perceptions of the world. To quote Edgar Degas, 'Art is not what you see but what you make others see.'"
