In partnership with Kitsap Black Student Union and the Central Kitsap Performing Arts Center, BIMA is proud to help bring award-winning, Denver and Colorado Springs-based theatre maven, Lynne Hastings, to direct students from across the county in this satirical perspective play with music.

This script, written by Tony Award-winning writer and director George C. Wolfe, presents eleven “exhibits,” undermining Black stereotypes old and new, and returns to the facts of what being Black means. It is a humorous, poignant, and powerful collection that challenges the audience in a most engaging way. Presented on the CK PAC stage with stunning multi-media, lighting, and sound, this is an event not to be missed!
