In partnership with City of Bainbridge Island, Race Equity Network, Bainbridge Island School District Multicultural Advisory Council

An afternoon celebrating the ideals, memory and vision of Martin Luther King Jr. Our all ages event will include a diverse sampling of music, food, artwork, age appropriate activities for kids, presentations and guest speakers from throughout our community.

Featuring storytelling by Barbara Lawrence (Suquamish), City of Bainbridge Island Proclamation by Matt Tirman, poetry by Peggie Erickson and Maketa, music by Deven Hocker, dance with Bainbridge Dance Center, special guest testimonies and sketches, and closing remarks by Karen Vargas and the Race Equity Network.
