Comics: Words & Pictures Summer Camp

Students Ages: 11-13
Teacher: Lin Lucas
BIMPRD Activity Number: Coming soon!

Comics, manga, and graphic novels—combining words and pictures together to tell amazing stories is what it’s all about. In this step-by-step class, young cartoonists will learn the basics of character design, story development, page layout, penciling, editing and inking techniques through fun, challenging explorations designed to inspire creativity and ignite a desire to write and draw stories.

This camp session will be held in-person at BIMA. Camp and BIMA staff will ensure that Kitsap County and BIMPRD health and safety guidelines are followed throughout the camp week, and a list of guidelines and procedures will be sent to families in advance of camp.
