Stirrett has been a Northwest artist since 1987. Her business, Stirrett Glass Art Studio, features custom art pieces, awards, and large scale commercial projects created out of a variety of sculptural glass and printmaking techniques. As an avid diver, much of Lisa's work has been to recreate the splendor of the deep and its unrestrained beauty. Passion for historical and primitive pictographs or petroglyphs has also infused a flavor of distant cultures in her work. Her installation at BIMA conjures up a personal narrative unfolding in an undersea world.
